Reporting
Concerns should be handled safely, privately, and with care.
Reporting helps Artifact identify safety issues, policy violations, scams, harassment, and other concerns. Our reporting process is designed to protect privacy, reduce public drama, and give staff the information needed to review issues responsibly.
Why reporting matters.
A healthy community depends on members feeling comfortable raising concerns when something is wrong. Reports help staff respond to behavior that may harm members, violate community standards, or threaten trust within Artifact.
Artifact encourages members to use private support tickets instead of public callouts, arguments, or witch hunts. This helps protect everyone involved while allowing staff to review information more carefully.
What should be reported.
If something feels unsafe, dishonest, exploitative, or harmful to the community, it may be worth reporting for staff review.
Safety Concerns
Threats, harassment, abuse, doxxing, unsafe behavior, or concerns involving minors.
Marketplace Issues
Scams, stolen artwork, impersonation, misleading sales, payment issues, or suspicious behavior.
Adult Content Violations
NSFW content outside permitted areas, age boundary concerns, or adult content involving prohibited material.
Misrepresentation
AI content presented dishonestly, fake portfolios, copied work, false claims, or role abuse.
Privacy Violations
Secret recording, sharing private information, unsafe downloads, QR codes, or suspicious links.
Community Conduct
Discrimination, toxicity, spam, trolling, staff evasion, or repeated disruptive behavior.
Reports are not about drama.
They are about protecting the community.

How reports are handled.
Reporting is a review process, not a public debate.
Confidentiality matters.
Reports and evidence are treated as confidential.
Many reports involve sensitive information, private conversations, or multiple people. Artifact does not publicly share evidence, reporter identities, or detailed moderation reasoning when doing so could harm privacy, safety, or the integrity of the review process.
When Artifact may escalate concerns.
Some issues may involve severe safety risks, illegal content, exploitation, threats, doxxing, fraud, or violations of Discord’s policies. When appropriate, Artifact may report users or content to Discord Trust & Safety.
In emergencies or situations involving immediate danger, members should contact appropriate emergency services or trusted local authorities. Artifact moderation is not a substitute for emergency response.
