Selling on Artifact
Your creativity deserves clear expectations.
Artifact helps artists and artisans present their work professionally, build trust with commissioners, and participate in a creative marketplace shaped by communication, transparency, and community standards.
Selling is more than posting a price sheet.
Every commission is a relationship between a creator and a commissioner. Clear communication, honest expectations, visible examples, and safer payment practices help protect both sides before work begins.
Artifact encourages artists and artisans to treat their creative services with care, whether they are just starting out or already have an established commission process.

AI and selling.
AI-generated artwork may not be sold, traded, or represented as human-created work within Artifact.
Artifact allows limited AI use for study, reference, concepting, and learning, but marketplace sales must be honest and transparent. AI-generated content cannot be used for Artisan verification.
